Project Cycle

Tide Cycles simplifies token distribution and airdrop for projects.

With this innovative feature projects can reward users periodically (daily or weekly) based on the points accumulated by users on the leaderboard. Projects lauch multiple quests with on chain and social actions. Users are motivated to complete the quests in a continuous way as the rewards from the protocol are distributed periodically.

The Tide Cycle feature is built to engage and reward users overtime. Your community will benefit from the longer relationship with the project as the rewards are distributed over cycles to boost engagement and retention.

We believe that using Cycles projects can airdrop their native token more efficiently rewarding only users that interact coninuously with the protocol.

How to build a new Cycle

From your space go to the "Cycles" section. Here you can create a new cycle with our no-code builder.

You need to choose:

1. Timeframe:

   1. Whether you want distribute rewards every 24 hours or 7 days

2. Distribution Criteria:

   1. XPs: distribute equally the tokens based on XPs. If a user owns 1% of the XPs in the leaderboard he/she will receive 1% of the cycle rewards

   2. Ranking: distribute rewards only to the users in the first positions of the leaderboard (Work In Progress)

   3. Duration: how long you want the cycle to last

   4. Network: choose the chain of the ERC20 reward

   5. Token: Choose the reward token (if it's not present in the list, please contact us or open a ticket on our Discord. The Tide team will be happy to add your token to the list. We will the following information: token name, the contract address and the token image)

   6. Reward amount per timeframe: here choose the amount of rewards you will distribute every day/week.

Cycle Builder

• Projects will see a summary of the Cycle that shows:

  • Network, distribution criteria and timeframe

  • Numeber of tokens distributed

  • Tide service fee

The project is now requested to deposit the tokens and to pay Tide 10% fee. Depending on your budget and lenght of relationship with Tide the fee can be lower.
